About me.
Kaitlyn is a NYC based singer, dancer, actor, and choreographer. She was just seen in the Broadway revival of Funny Girl at the August Wilson Theatre. Previously, she has been seen on Broadway in My Fair Lady at the Vivian Beaumont at Lincoln Center, Disney's Newsies: The Broadway Musical on Disney+; the first National Tours of Newsies (u/s Katherine), Funny Girl, My Fair Lady, and White Christmas; and on television in Blue Bloods on CBS and HBO's The Gilded Age seasons 1 and 2. In 2019, Kaitlyn originated the role of Annleigh in the Off-Broadway premiere of We Are The Tigers and can be heard on the Original Off-Broadway Cast Recording. Kaitlyn will be featured as a mentor & choreographer in the upcoming docuseries led by Kristin Chenoweth and directed by Kenny Ortega, "1300 miles to Broadway." A Poughkeepsie, NY native, Kaitlyn's performance background first started with tap dance under mentors David Rider and Aaron Tolson and soon began performing with the American Tap Dance Foundation's TCYE Ensemble under choreographers including Michelle Dorrance and Brenda Buffalino. She received the American Tap Dance Foundation's Buster Brown Award for "excellence, passion and hunger for the art of tap dance." Kaitlyn continued her training in the BFA Musical Theatre program at Emerson College.
Kaitlyn is a NYC based choreographer and teacher. Kaitlyn is on faculty at Broadway Dance Center in NYC, adjunct faculty at Marymount Manhattan College in NYC, on faculty at My College Audition, and was the co-director of the Emerson College BFA Musical Theatre Pre-College program (2018-2021). Kaitlyn's choreography credits include Powerline Road at A.R.T./New York, White Christmas at The Little Theatre on The Square (2017, 2022), Touch The Sky Honoring Chita Rivera at Carnegie Hall's Zanken Hall, "Gutenberg The Musical" Broadway Cares/EFA, "Swing" on Broadstream, Musical Theatre Factory, and "SDG Groove" presented at One Humanity Live with the United Nations.
