About me.
Kaitlyn Frank is NYC based singer, dancer, actor and choreographer from Poughkeepsie, NY. She has been seen on Broadway in Funny Girl and My Fair Lady as well as numerous National Tours including Disney’s Newsies and White Christmas. Kaitlyn originated the role of Annleigh in We Are the Tigers, a new musical, Off Broadway at Theatre 80. Other favorite roles include Elle Woods in Legally Blonde (Theatre Aspen), Judy Haynes in White Christmas (Bucks County Playhouse), and upcoming, Francine Valli in Jersey Boys (Paper Mill Playhouse). Kaitlyn has been seen on TV in Blue Bloods on CBS, The Gilded Age on HBO and Disney's Newsies: the Broadway Musical on Disney+.
Kaitlyn started tap dancing when she was 3 and quickly caught the bug. She started training with David Rider and Aaron Tolson and then started performing with American Tap Dance Foundation’s Tap City Youth Ensemble, performing works by Brenda Buffalino and Michelle Dorrance. This year, Kaitlyn is grateful to work and learn from tap legends Ayodele Casel and Jared Grimes.
Kaitlyn continued her training at Emerson College’s BFA Musical Theatre program where she originated the role Lucia C in Cafe Variations directed by Anne Bogart with the SITI Company (Arts Emerson).
Kaitlyn is also a teacher and choreographer. Kaitlyn is currently on faculty at Broadway Dance Center, Marymount Manhattan College and My College Audition. Kaitlyn’s choreography has been seen at The United Nations, Zenken Hall (Carnegie Hall), A.R.T. New York, Broadway Cares Equity Fights AIDS and Little Theatre On The Square and in the upcoming docuseries, "1300 Miles To Broadway," directed by Kenny Ortega and produced by Kristin Chenoweth.
